The Bio-Tox Foot Detoxification Spa is very user friendly!
The Bio-Tox detox foot spa is programmed by default for a 30 minute session and will alternate between negative and positive charges throughout the duration of the session. The Bio-Tox ionizing program has been tested for maximum ionization of the water and the ultimate health benefit to the user.
Use Instructions: Insert power cord, array, and wrist strap into corresponding jacks on the side of the machine.
Next, place the array and your feet into lined basin filled with ordinary warm tap water, put the wrist strap on making sure the metal platelet is on the underside of your arm and is a snug fit. Now turn the power switch on. It is on the back right side of the machine. All of these steps MUST be completed to insure the circuit connections are complete. If not your machine will display CIRCIUT ERROR on the display screen and will not start your detox session!
Once these steps are completed:
Press enter, on the front right of your machcine and read the "E=" on the bottom right of screen and slowly add salt until it reads "E = 2.0" and you are ready.
*Again, add the salt slowly and give it about 30 seconds to pick up the salt reading.
IMPORTANT: If too much salt is added to the water the machine will shut off and read "ERROR". This is because the conductivity of the water is too high due to "Over salting" the water. In this case please discard the water and start over with fresh water.
Now enjoy your detox session! Sit back and relax for 30 Minutes!
Legend:
T = 30 this is the time set. 3 means it is working in 3d mode.
E = 2.0 Stands for the energy used for detoxification.
E = 2.0 is determined by the salt you have to add to your water, just add small amounts at a time and give your machine a few seconds to get the reading.
Important: Do not let the "E=" reading get higher than 2.4, or your machine will automatically turn off at 2.5.
The perfect "E=" reading for 3d mode is E=2.0
When time has been reached for the detox time set, the machine will cut off automatically; and that ends one session.
PLEASE NOTE: The device will alarm a sound and text if any of the following conditions occurs:
1. The array is taken out of the water or has some other problem.
2. The wrist strap is not on the wrist or there is some problem with it.
3. The energy value is over 2.5. (Which is determined by the salt added to water.)
Recommended Detox Schedule:
1. The proper duration of one detox session for adults is 30 minutes. The machine is programmed to automatically set to this duration.
2. Children under 8 yrs old should not use the device. Children should not use the device without adult supervision. Children 8-15 years of age should not use the device for more than 15 minutes.
3. Frequency of Use:
Adults under 50 yrs of age - once every 2 days until you have completed 14 treatments. Then take two weeks off to allow your body to rest. Remember, it does take energy to detox your body. After your 2 weeks of rest start the same process and once you have finished you will have completed 28 treatments. Now you can go on a maintenance schedule. Your body will let you know when you need to detox.
Adults 50 yrs of age or older follow the same schedule with the exception,of, do your detox sessions every 3rd day instead.
*Like anything else, moderation is good and over indulgence is bad. Do NOT detox for more than 3 consecutive days and do NOT detox more than 2 times per day.
Trouble Shooting:
If you machine is giving you an error message please check the following:
1. The power cord is connected securely to the unit
2. The wrist strap is plugged in correctly to the unit and the wrist strap is fit securely around the users wrist (you may need to moisten the wrist or area where the connector on the wrist strap is touching to complete the connection) *Also if the user's arm is hairy you may need to move the wrist strap to a position where a connection can be made on the skin.
3. The array may be faulty so try using another one. If it is the array please discard the array and do not attempt to use it again. If it is not the array it has to be one of the above issues or the motherboard has malfunctioned.
4. If you have checked all of the above and taken the necessary steps to pinpoint the issue without success then the mother board may be broken. If you are within the 6 month warranty window please contact us to schedule a return for repairs.
